The Grill Dining & Lounge

Great ambience, great view, food done to perfection and awesome team. We went to The Grill to celebrate my 29th birthday and my mom’s 50th birthday and we had a great time. We ordered the beef tomohawk special for two. A huge thanks to Walid and Amr who made the night extra special. We also got a complimentary side and desert on the house.

Seafood bisque was good , Foie Gras was phenomenal, chocolate bar for dessert is exceptional , spectacular Nile view Great service, special thanks to Mr. Mohamed Hussein & Mr. Waleed for his hospitality.

The main issue with this restaurant is the meat. If you value tender, medium-rare meat with a nicely seared exterior, you will likely be disappointed. If, however, you are looking for a romantic setting by the Nile, good wine, and a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy with a loved one, this place delivers. The view is excellent, and the staff are attentive and professional. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the meat. Despite being a French-origin, meat-focused restaurant (hence the name “Grill”), the meat was consistently overcooked. The waiter kindly replaced the first dish, but the second attempt produced the same result. This may partly be a cultural preference, as meat in Egypt is often cooked more thoroughly, and the chef was Egyptian. That said, the cut was sliced too thin to achieve a proper medium-rare. Additionally, there were clear signs that the meat had not been brought to room temperature before grilling; it appeared to have been nearly frozen when cooked. I would not be this critical if the restaurant were casual or moderately priced. However, this is an expensive establishment, and for someone who prioritizes meat quality and preparation, the experience was a disappointment. If exceptional meat is your priority, this is not the right place. If ambiance, romance, and a beautiful Nile view matter more to you, then it may still be worth visiting.

The Grill Dining & Lounge restaurant was really good! We walked in without a reservation and were seated immediately — and with a beautiful view. Everyone was super nice and very accommodating. The food was really good, and honestly, I’m surprised they aren’t super packed because everything was good . Definitely would recommend!

I had a wonderful experience at the Grill Restaurant. The food was excellent and full of flavor, and the view of the Nile made the atmosphere truly special. We celebrated my wife’s birthday there, and I had asked for a cake in advance — they delivered it beautifully and made the celebration unforgettable. A special thanks to Mr. Walid for his warm hospitality and outstanding service. It is a bit on the pricey side (around 4000 LE per person), but for the quality, service, and overall experience, it’s definitely worth it. Highly recommende
