This full-day tour of Cairo provides an extensive journey through some of Egypt's most well-known and historically significant sites. Beginning with a visit to the Pyramids of Giza, travelers will witness the three famous pyramids—the Great Pyramid of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure—standing against the arid desert landscape. Following this, the itinerary moves to Saqqara, home to the Step Pyramid of Djoser, considered the earliest colossal stone building in ancient Egypt. Next, the tour includes a stop at Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom, where visitors will see the colossal statue of Ramses II and other archaeological remains. After lunch, the tour continues to the Grand Egyptian Museum, where the latest archaeological finds, including treasures from Tutankhamun's tomb, are displayed in a modern setting. The day concludes with a walk through Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, a historic market where the scents of spices and sounds of bargaining merchants create a lively atmosphere. Key stops on the tour each offer a distinct glimpse into Egypt’s past. At Giza, visitors will observe the intricate construction of the pyramids and the enigmatic Great Sphinx, its lion’s body and human face carved from limestone. Saqqara presents a contrast with the stepped design of the Djoser Pyramid, surrounded by tombs adorned with intricate hieroglyphs and wall reliefs. Memphis reveals fragments of a once vast city, including statues and stelae that reveal the grandeur of the ancient capital. The Grand Egyptian Museum houses thousands of artifacts arranged chronologically, allowing visitors to trace Egypt’s development through millennia. The final stop, Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, offers a sensory experience with its labyrinth of stalls selling traditional crafts, textiles, and jewelry, alongside cafés where one can sip mint tea amid the aroma of freshly ground coffee. This tour is typically conducted in small to medium groups, guided by Egyptologists who provide detailed commentary about the historical and cultural significance of each site. Transportation is arranged in comfortable air-conditioned vehicles, ensuring smooth travel between the widely spaced locations. The guide tailors explanations to the interests of the group and answers questions throughout the day. The pace balances walking with rest periods, allowing visitors to absorb the surroundings without feeling rushed. The tour suits travelers with a strong interest in ancient history and archaeology, as well as those who appreciate a comprehensive overview of Cairo’s key monuments. It is ideal for visitors who enjoy structured itineraries with expert guidance and are comfortable with moderate walking over uneven terrain, especially at archaeological sites. Those wishing to combine cultural immersion with a historical perspective will find this itinerary rewarding.

Me and my partner went on the boat cruise over the river Nile with Dahabiya Cairo and what a beautiful experience from start to end. It was our last night and we wanted something special, it was a last minute booking and it was so easy getting it all organized due to the quick response from the Company on the same day, even when we had to advise them on our slight delay arriving at the activity due to the traffic in Cairo we were reassured by them that we would get to the boat somehow with great communication throughout. The boat is elegant with great design all around that makes it very welcoming. Although there's the option to have drinks only, we opted for the full meal with appetizers, soup and the Surf &Turf as a main as well as dessert. The meal was delicious and cooked perfectly we even gave compliments to the cheff on board. There was a live saxo and drum show that made the cruise more dynamic but we even enjoyed the background music playing throughout. What put the cherry on top was the great service on board, all the crew was friendly, they all help with the delux vibe that characterizes this experience, we loved that the waiter picked on the fact we enjoyed the mango smoothie so much he offered us some more at the end without us asking. This is perfect for a romantic night but I'm sure groups would love it too, it's a 10/10 activity and great value for money, we didn't get any names as it was a bit rushed for us at first but thank you all for treating is so well :) We recommend it 100%!
We had such a great time! The food quality was exceptional, unlike any other nile boats. I was surprised by the service and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a night boat ride with dinner.
This was really an amazing experience by the Nile river. There is a 3 hours tour by the Nile while having an amazing band. The food is super good and the staff is amazing. It is also very clean and we'll furnished.
I had two wonderful hours of pure enjoyment right in the middle of the Nile with five people and a baby on board the Dahabiya Ship. A big thank-you to the crew for their warm hospitality and classy service! I booked an evening cruise (drinks only) through WhatsApp — the team was super flexible and easy to deal with. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize that any extras, like desserts or nuts, need to be ordered before the trip, so we only had drinks during the cruise. The boat’s location is easy to find, but parking nearby can be tricky — I’d definitely recommend coming by taxi. While waiting at the reception, we were served a welcome drink — such a nice touch! The cruise started exactly on time, and we got to enjoy two hours of the Nile’s magical vibes. As mentioned, my booking was for drinks only. I was a bit disappointed that the options weren’t quite what I expected — they offered the usual hot drinks, some fresh juices, and mojitos. Also, the drinks service came in two rounds only (not open buffet), and we had to ask a few times for refills — not my favorite part. That said, the decor, lighting, and overall atmosphere made the whole experience feel truly special. The live band was amazing and super friendly! They even let my son join them for a short performance — such a sweet moment. The band moves between the first and second decks, keeping everyone entertained. In the end, I can honestly say it was an unforgettable Nile experience. Thank you to Dahabiya Team for a lovely evening! 💛
