The Pyramid of Menkaure is the smallest of the three main pyramids on the Giza Plateau, situated near Cairo. Constructed during Egypt's Fourth Dynasty, it served as the tomb for King Menkaure. Its volume is about one tenth that of the largest pyramid, Khufu.
This pyramid is part of a larger complex that includes a mortuary temple, a valley temple, and a connecting causeway. Three smaller subsidiary pyramids lie on its southern side, contributing to the overall layout of the site. The structure reflects ancient Egyptian burial practices and architectural design.
